Middle School

GMS Clubs

We encourage students at Grant Middle School to participate in extracurricular activities. These activities provide an outlet to explore new interests, learn valuable skills, meet like-minded peers, and see a world of possibilities.

Current Club Offerings

Our Anti-Bullying Committee is made up of concerned students who meet regularly to discuss ways they can help prevent bullying at GMS. These students also serve as the first line of defense against bullying by committing to report questionable activity to the appropriate adult.

Battle of the Books
Join other book lovers to read new books, discuss insights, and share your knowledge through competitions with other schools across our state.

GMS Spelling Bee
Are you good at spelling? Do you love to learn new words? Then consider trying out for our spelling bee team. We compete with other spellers in our district and by invitation at state-level events.

Hoops for Heart
Each year, our physical education department participates in Hoops for Heart. This event motivates students to use what they have (basketball skills) to help others by raising money for the American Heart Association

Student Government
Student government is all about leadership and serving. It gives students hands-on experiences with our representative form of government and encourages them to look to the good of others.

Help us create our annual yearbook while learning about journalism, editing, production, and photography.

Walk Across Michigan
Walk Across Michigan encourages students to live active, healthy lives while enjoying the great outdoors.
